Mariana joined Gas Natural Fenosa in 1998 to initiate the Gas Natural electricity business through CCGT technology,and since 2008 is responsible for Portfolio Management at Global Gas Division. She is responsible for managing Sales Contracts to big costumers in Spain and abroad. Mariana has over 24 years´experience in the energy industry, in electricity and gas. She is a graduate in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Luis Casado studied Chemistry at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where he got his Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering (1992). After a short staying at the Koninklijke/Shell-Laboratorium, in Amsterdam, he initiated his PhD work at the Chemical Engineering Department of UCM, were he got his Doctor Degree. He completed his education with the Leadership Program at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and the Advanced Management Seminar for Repsol at ESADE Business School.

During his staying at the Faculty of Chemistry, he was an assistant professor at the Chemical Engineering Department. After that, and as a professional at Repsol, he collaborated as associated professor with the School of Technology and Experimental Science at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.

He started his professional career at Repsol in 1996, working as a process engineer in the Engineering Division.

In 1998 he joined the Refining Division of the Company, working in the in the area of Business Development (Technology and Projects department), where he developed his career in different positions, until the year 2012, when he was appointed Environmental Footprint and Carbon Unit Director in Repsol Health Safety and Environment Division. In the year 2014 he came back to Refining as Technology Development and Innovation Director. Current responsibilities combine business development functions (refining technologies and project evaluation, LP modelling as well as regulatory affairs) with innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge management. In April 2016 he was appointed Director Safety, Environment & Sustainability.

He has represented Repsol in different international forum. He initiated his collaboration with Fuels Europe (EUROPIA by that time), the European Refining Association, in 2005, participating in the Industrial Products Action Group, and since 2008 until 2012, as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Association.  Since 2005 until 2012 he also collaborated with the European Refining Technology Conference as advisor, and in the year 2013 represented Repsol in the Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) of IPIECA.

Eithne Treanor runs a specialist media consultancy company based in Dubai. www.etreanor.com. She is a professional conference moderator and facilitator and an expert media and communications trainer as well as a seasoned energy industry commentator.

Eithne acts as OPEC’s official on-air conference and webcast moderator. She has moderated at a large number of other conferences including the International Energy Forum, ADIPEC, World Energy Forum, the Africa Global Business Forum and the Excellence in Energy Awards. She is CNBC Arabia’s Special Consultant and she has worked as an international television journalist for ABC News, Sky News, BBC World, Bloomberg Television and CNBC Europe.  She has interviewed thousands of leading politicians, dignitaries, energy ministers and high-ranking business people around the world. She is a guest presenter on Dubai Eye radio on the award winning Business Breakfast show and she regularly comments on energy matters.

She studied Politics and Sociology at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and has a degree in Broadcast Communications from Columbia College in Chicago and a post-graduate diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

I joined Enagás in 2008 and am currently the Head of Sustainability & Environment. During this period, I have performed the integration of sustainability within Enagás’ strategy, and thus run initiatives in key areas (carbon footprint, energy efficiency plan, natural gas uses, etc.); as a result, Enagás is leading the main CSR & climate change indexes (DJSI, CDP, FTSE4Good, Ethibel, etc.).

Prior to joining the company, I worked for almost 10 years as a management consultant in several firms, focusing in strategy, operating models, organization and processes.

I hold a Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Madrid, and a Management Development Program by the Escuela de Organization Industrial (EOI) and have partipated as speaker in several forums related to sustainability, climate change, integrated reporting, etc.

He was born in Venice on 1 August 1961 and has been Executive Vice President of Energy Solutions since 1 November 2015.

Experience

He joined Eni in 1986 and spent the first years of his professional life in the Reservoir Department in the reservoir modelling group. Between 1992 and 1996 he worked in different operational positions in Italy and abroad in the reservoir sector. From 1996 to 2003 he worked as project manager with IFP (Institut Français du Petrol, France), in Venezuela and in the Persian Gulf. In this period, he also taught at IFP School and published several technical papers, including a book on Integrated Reservoir Studies. He came back to Eni in 2003, initially as head of the reservoir department and in 2004 as head of the reservoir modelling department. From 2005 to 2010 he worked in Libya, firstly as Operation and Asset Manager in Eni North Africa and then as a member of the management in the operating company Eni Oil, later Mellitah Oil & Gas. From 2010 to 2013 he was Managing Director of Eni Congo. In 2013 he was appointed Senior Vice Chairman for Non-Operated Business Performance and Stranded Resources Valorisation. He graduated with honours in geology in 1985 from the University of Padua.

Zubin Bamji is Senior Communications Officer for the World Bank’s Energy & Extractive Industries Global Practice at its headquarters in Washington, DC. In this role he manages communications programs for the Extractive Industries unit, including implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and the Global Gas Flaring Reduction Partnership, a coalition of oil-producing countries and companies working to end routine gas flaring.

Prior to the World Bank, Bamji was a Senior Communications Officer for the U.S. Department of Commerce, working on regulatory, environmental, and sustainability issues. He has also served as Director of Marketing for the Security Industry Association and Director of Communications and Brand Management for NPR. Bamji began his career as an Account Supervisor for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide.

Anthony joined Woodside Energy in 2011 and is currently serving as its HSE Manager overseeing global exploration activity.

Anthony has 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry spanning 20 countries and five continents in both the private and public sector, having held roles with State/Provincial and Federal Governments, environmental consultancy, and having worked with BHP Billiton Petroleum and Woodside Energy out of both Australia and the US.

His experience has focused on exploration and development projects, with a background in environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, and environmental policy and legislative development and reform.

Anthony has a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment and Master of Environmental Science from Murdoch University.

Prior to his current position in Paris as TOTAL E&P Vice President Oil & Gas Advocacy and elected GasNaturally Chairman, FrançoisRégis Mouton held various positions in the Exploration & Production Branch of Elf Aquitaine S.A. from 1988 to 1996, including participation in operated and non-operated Joint Ventures in Gabon, and in gas storage projects in France.

He then joined the Gas & Power Division in 1996 as Vice President Elf Aquitaine Gas UK Ltd, and in 2001 became Commercial & Business Development Director at TOTAL Gas & Power North Europe, based in Brussels.

He was then appointed Senior Advisor at the World Bank Group in the Oil, Gas & Mining Policy Division from 2005 to 2007, where he successfully launched the Public-Private “Global Gas Flaring Reduction” Partnership in the Middle East (zero flaring policy in countries like Qatar), promoted regional cooperation on gas flaring reduction in the Gulf of Guinea (Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria) and also convinced France and the European Union to join the Partnership as donor countries.
From 2007 to 2010, he held the position of Joint Venture Manager & Communication/Sustainable Development Manager for “Pazflor”, the largest project then operated by TOTAL E&P, and finally from 2010 to 2015, he was based in Brussels as Delegate for European Affairs for TOTAL S.A..

FrançoisRégis holds a “Diplôme d’ingénieur” from the Grande École des ‘Hautes Études d’Ingénieur’ (HEI) in Lille, France, a Masters Degree in Reservoir Engineering from the French Institute of Petroleum in Paris (IFP School), and a Training in Finance for Non Finance Managers, ‘Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales’ (HEC) in Paris, France.

William Hayes joined Kosmos Energy in Dallas in 2007, following the company’s discovery of the giant Jubilee Field offshore Ghana, and served as its Vice President – General Counsel.   After the company’s initial public offering and listing on the NYSE in 2011, Mr. Hayes was named SVP-Legal & External Affairs and held additional responsibility for developing and managing Kosmos’ corporate responsibility principles and activities; including its Business Principles, social investments and international initiatives around transparency and good governance.   From 2014, Mr. Hayes has been primarily focused on Kosmos Energy’s activities in Morocco and working with ONHYM    on the drilling of two deepwater wells offshore; one near Agadir and the other near Boujdour.   In late 2015, he became a Senior Advisor – Government Affairs for Kosmos Energy.   Mr. Hayes’ 35 year career has been in the oil and gas industry; and for the last 27 years has been exclusively international, having worked in many countries around the globe.  He is a graduate of St Mary’s University School of Law and the University of Texas at Austin.
